Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Walk by faith, not by sight.
But I do not want you to be ignorant, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope.
Do not be deceived: "Evil company corrupts good habits."
Comfort each other and build one another up. Warn those who are unruly, comfort the faint-hearted, uphold the weak, be patient with all.
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
Test all things; hold fast to what is good. Abstain from every form of evil. May the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15, 1 Thessalonians 4 & 5
Finally, brothers (and sisters), whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praise-worthy- meditate on these things.
Philippians 4:8
