Wing Fest

On Saturday we spent a few hours at the National Buffalo Wing festival downtown. It has been going now for six years, and there are about 20 different vendors competing for the best wing sauce. This festival is much like the Prune festival in Sutter county except...it's not prunes. I was able to sample a large variety of wings such as honey BBQ to coconut, and teryaki cashew. It is amazing how many ways you can ruin perfectly good Buffalo Wings.

After the festival we all spent the rest of the weekend around the house just getting things ready for the week as we start to get back into a normal routine of work. I guess one thing that has made this Labor Day weekend different from all those years growing up is a high temperature of about 75 degrees. That's about it for now.

Hello
well sounds like you had a tasty weekend. just wanted to wish matt good luck tomorrow, although I am sure he doesn't need it, they are lucky to have you as their employee. look forward to hearing about your job. Jaime and Mya, hang in there I am sure it will be hard at first but you will probably still see him more then when he was in school.
Have a great week.

Sounds like fun! Did you guys remember the chapstick? I'm sure some of those wings were pretty hot. Love seeing how Mya has blossomed into a beautiful butterfly...very cute! Miss her and you guys so much. Landon still wants to go far away and see Mymy. He doesn't give up or forget. Have a great rest of the week.
Love,
Casey

Mya looks so grown-up, even in her wings.....she looks like she's thinning down? Is that why she had to ask Grammama for a treat when she got on the phone the other night? Too cute, had to tell everyone @ work! Matt you've been in my thoughts and prayers, hope the job is enjoyable. Jaime, how does it feel to have a schedule back again? Love the pictures, keep them coming!
Hugs & Kisses to Mya! (and the you guys too)
Love,
