Cutting the Tree
Matt put Emily in this chair, and she would NOT move.... just blink and suck on her passie. The women working in the store thought it was too sweet. Her little red cheeks.... I LOVE this shot. One of those "right place, right time" pictures. Daddy gave her some hot cocoa, and she was trying to cool it down. Love those lips!Die-hards? ABSOLUTELY!!! Today our high was in the teens. With the wind chill, it was right around zero. It wouldn't have been so bad, but that wind was just awful! We chose to pick our tree today, because we wanted the fresh snow on the ground. There was plenty of it. We had a great time. All in all, the girls did great, and we can't imagine giving up this experience. Enjoy!!!
YES, It looks Very cold!!! Too bad about the wind. Glad you had a good time regardless of the weather. Thanks for sharing once again. PS I love the photo of Mya drinking the hot chocolate.
It sure does look COLD in these photos. Today Brian and a fellow firefighter hiked to the top of Mt. Lassen, 10,000ft. in elevation. He said it was just flat COLD, but after seeing these pictures...I think the girls' adventures in cutting their Christmas tree top Uncle Brian's. Love you guys! Angela
Wonderful pictures. Look like scenes from a Hallmark Christmas movie. With a wind chill of zero, zip up your jacket, Matt (spoken like your fourth grade teacher).

I believe the reason Emily did not move when you put her in the chair is because---she's frozen!
When you're frozen--- you don't move!
Oh so now you're sensoring comments? Where's my comment from days ago? Hmmmm....
Anyway, looks like fun but VERY cold. Glad to see that you're keeping the tradition alive.
We went to the snow yesterday and thought a lot about you guys.
Miss you lots! Merry Christmas!!!
I love the picture of Mya and the hot chocolate. You captured it at the perfect time.
