The Great Pumpkin Farm

We are finally getting our fall weather here in N.Y. The days don't get above 65 degrees, and the nights have been in the 40's. We have had a consistant brisk breeze. We were bumbed that we didn't get to experience a normal "Fall Coloring" this year. The summer has been too dry, so the trees didn't put on much color change. There are a few trees here and there that have some color, but most are just loosing the leaves and getting ready for winter.
With the drop in temperature, we thought it was a perfect time to take Mya to the Pumpkin Farm. They have several Pumpkin and Apple Farms around here. We had been recomended "The Great Pumpkin Farm" by many people, and after visiting, we know why. We may even make it back again before the season is over. Like everything, it's only 20 minutes away. It was packed with things for kids! They have a full-on amusement park area, lots of different animals to feed and pet, pumpkins galore, and the usual slides and trains. It sure was chilly! Mya's nose and hands were red in no time, but she didn't even notice with all that was going on. Enjoy our pictures!

We love the pictures. We all agree, Mya is growing up way too fast! Everyone loved talking to her on Friday night! The race is on, who's going to have the first baby? Can't wait to hear how things are going! Mya is it too cold for the moon?

Matt, I know you called for Tim last night but it was nice catching up with you. It's so great to hear that you guys are enjoying NY. Like Mom said, the race is on to see who delivers first. Can't wait to hear if it's a boy or a girl.

It is great to see how much you all enjoy N.Y. It looks like there is a lot to do back there. Well hope you are feeling great. The second time around seems a lot easier on your body. Hopefully that will be the case on you. Look forward to seeing what you will be having!

Hi Guys,
I really enjoyed these photos of the pumkin farm.
I see that Mya is almost 2 1/2 feet tall. That is a cute picture. It would be neat to take another photo of Mya next year, standing at the same place, to see what her height is then :)
Now, about that "slide" that Matt and Mya went on. I'm not sure if Mya really liked it or not. I couldn't tell.
It is good to get your updates. Always fun to read.
HUGS TO YOU ALL, Mom/Brenda/G-ma
