On Friday, Matt and I had planned on driving to Ohio to visit Joe and Sarah. We Mapquested the trip, and were given a 5 1/2 hour drive. We left an hour and a half later than we wanted. It was after mid-night when we arrived at Joe and Sarah's house. Mya was SO excited! Little stinker... I don't know that she slept at all that first night. It was gorgeous weather, so on Saturday, we all took a walk to a nearby park. Sunday was just as nice. After going to to church, where Joe is the Youth Pastor, we were invited to Joe's parent's house for an afternoon. We had a yummy meal, and enjoyed an afternoon outside. Mya is such an animal lover! She spent most of her time trying to feed three dogs bird seed, hay, grass, whatever she could get her hands on. Matt brought his "Power Kite" on the trip, in hopes of having a chance to fly it. Sunday was perfect for it, and all the guys (Joe, his dad, and his two brothers) gave it a try. We made it back home a little after 11:00. The girls and I are still attempting to get rested up. It was a LONG drive, but worth it.

Jaime, I am so glad you have relatives semi-close to you. at least a weekend trip away. I bet you guys had a lot of fun together. i love the new pics of the girls on the side. they are so beautiful! a good mix of both of you. well have a good night and may the spring weather get to you soon!

Looks like everyone had a good time. By the way, that kite is HUGE. Jaime, can you fly it or will it fly you?
